Who Are You?

March 30, 2011

Who Are You?Next week YFE is kicking into high gear by getting the Podcast going again, a little website revision, rolling out our new membership details, and publishing a couple online and in person events. Fun stuff.

YFE has been growing through our email list and Facebook Page with names and faces that we’ve never met. We want to know who you are. Doing a shameless plug thread isn’t good enough for us though… rather than rattling off your elevator speech lets find out some fun stuff that will connect us all over commonalities (or differences).

To participate there is one rule- you have to be an entrepreneurial female in your 20s or 30s… a YFE.

Fill out the fields with your name (PS. use a nickname, or just first name if you don’t want the search engines to index this comment under the name you do business with!), email if your avatar is all linked up, and website. Then… in the comment section tell us:

  1. Years in business (days, months- could be in the negative if you are still sitting on an idea- hop to it!).
  2. Single/Married/It’s Complicated (did Facebook define dating status for our generation- I think so!)
  3. Which one… vodka, wine, beer, or water for me thanks!
  4. Favorite business book.
  5. Running, yoga, Zumba, or you’re kidding me, right?

Add your Twitter/Facebook info if you want to make it easier to connect with other YFEs.

1. I technically incorporated in Dec. 2007, but I (unknowingly) had timed my initial business efforts with the crash of the economy. I decided to wait until I felt the time was right again, so here I am just over 3 years later in the initial start-up phase of my event planning company
2. Single- I’m grateful for this time I have to dedicate to living out my dream as a business owner
3. Vodka (martinis), wine or water
4. I enjoy reading books about successful companies that I like.
5. I’m too young to feel this old, so it’s back to the gym for me!! I’m a wannabe runner, I dabble with yoga, and I’d like to try Zumba sometime soon.

As I get things set up for my event planning business, feel free to check out another hobby/business I’ve had for several months now-
