Misty Copeland was recently featured on A Day in the Life. From middle school through college my hobby was dance, so I was thrilled to be able to sit there before bed and watch an inspiring story from a remarkable woman. The show, created by the same guy who brought us “Supersize Me,” walks us through the day in the life of an important figure. Imagine my excitement when in the clip above we find out that she was in the midst of building out a fashion line that meets the need for the more curvy dancer. This is on top of dancing with American Ballet Theatre and her outreach.
Let’s be honest here, we all have busy lives filled with priorities that are ever changing that is coupled with a drive to succeed in business. To fulfill our missions in a profitable manner. I know it’s possible to be young, female and entrepreneurial, but at times I catch myself getting frustrated by the day to day grind. So, the topic of our Twitter Chat this Thursday (at 4pm PST/7pm EST) is “Your Day.”
During the Twitter Chat, or #YFEchat, we are going to share what our average days look like, where we are frustrated, what is working well, and how we can work together to move our businesses forward by looking at it from a day to day view point.
