Ooh Burn! Our Live Stream with Allie Hagan and Chat with CNN

September 27, 2012

Young Female Entrepreneurs will be welcoming Allie Hagan, a 25 year old Washington D.C. policy consultant and author of Suri’s Burn Book. Yes, that’s right Suri, as in Suri Cruise.

Allie has been featured in The Huffington Post, The Daily Beast, Daily Mail, The Washington Post, and on People.com discussing why she started the infamous blog, Suri’s Burn Book where she mimics the young daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Like other popular Tumblr memes (for example, Femenist Ryan Gossling) the blog grew in popularity almost over night and is now a book.

While Allie may not be founding a startup, or building an enviable lifestyle business, she has experienced a number of things that young, female entrepreneurs can relate to over the last year. The live stream is only 30 minutes, and I have a good twenty questions I would love to ask her ranging from book deals and her blogging practices to how she is dealing with criticism and what her thought process was in starting and continuing to write the blog on a consistent basis.

After reading Surisburnbook.tumblr.com what questions would you ask her? Comment below, or, even better show up for the live stream tonight at 6pm PDT/9pm EDT. The live video and chat, if nothing else, will be entertaining! To watch Allie on the Young Female Entrepreneurs live stream visit ovaleye.tv/live and click the play button on the video player. To chat with myself and other YFEs, click on the chat box link above the video.

Don’t forget we have two days left in our Instagram it! meetup where we’ll be meeting over pics using the hashtag #YFEthirsty today and #YFEfit Friday (find out more at yfe.me/instag1). This is ALL leading up to #YFEchat, co-hosted by CNN on Friday at 8p/11e. If you’re new to Twitter chats check out CNN International’s piece on why and how you should join a Twitter chat here.
