About the Organization
The History
“Young, Female, & Entrepreneurial” is a group that was founded in 2008 by successful entrepreneur, Jenny Dibble. The group would meet to discuss business ideas, get advice from other members, and experts speak on relevant topics. The group began out of Dibble’s comfy home setting with tea served saying “Just looking for someone you can vent to that knows what you are going through? We can do that too!”
YFE Today
Jennifer Donogh took over the group in 2009 and transitioned it from Young, Female & Entreprneurial into Young Female Entrepreneurs. Living and doing business in the online space she purchased the domain, setup the site, got an email list going and got to work.
YFE is a a business incubator and support group for women in their 20s and 30s who are “Young, Female, & Entrepreneurial.” Our mission is to help each member on their path to profitable businesses while building a collective reputation that is philanthropic, successful, multi-faceted, and collaborative.
Today Young Female Entrepreneurs acts as a sounding board, a place for discussion, networking, and inspiration. Meetings occur online through web conferencing on the last Wednesday of every month, with prior registration required. YFE is also host to #YFEchat on Twitter and posts frequent blogs and podcasts.
