About the Organization
Young Female Entrepreneurs is an online organization that moderates connections between entrepreneurial women in their 20s and 30s. The YFE mission is to help each participating member on their path to profitable businesses while building a collective reputation that is philanthropic, successful, multi-faceted, and collaborative.

YFE moderates biweekly Twitter Chats, web conferences, hosts a live stream and publishes a healthy blog and Podcast profiling the women within our community. To be a “member” all YFE asks is that you show up, are in your 20s or early 30s and are on the path to owning your own business.
While YFE began with in person get togethers, the fun got going when the Director, Jennifer Donogh kicked off YFE online in the beginning of 2011 and has since been honored by the White House as a Champion of Change for Young Entrepreneurs for her work with YFE. “Visiting the White House, being featured on the blog, and meeting so many incredible people was a highlight for me and something that has changed the way in which I treat YFE.”
As a political science major Jenn thought she was going into politics after graduating from college. It wasn’t until after graduation and a backpacking trip across Europe that her parents sat her down and suggested business as a viable option for her future. Along with her responsibilities with YFE Jenn is an owner of Ovaleye where they offer web hosting and cloud services to small businesses across the US. “I love that I get to do what I wanted to do all along in college; create change. I get to provide small businesses with the tools to make the world a better place in so many ways.”
